Eye Examinations

Eye examinations are carried out using a mixture of traditional methods such as the manual trial lenses system to obtain the highest level of accuracy.

This is combined with state-of-the-art electronic equipment, which is used to measure eye pressure, visual fields and to capture detailed digital photographic images of the retina (the interior back wall of the eye).

This enables the recognition of any ocular problems such as glaucoma or macular degeneration at the earliest possible stage.

Digital Photographic Fundus Examination

Our Fundus eye test broadens the test process by providing a health assessment of each patient’s whole visual system, enabling the detection of glaucoma, diabetes, inflammatory disorders, age-related macular degeneration and vascular occlusions.

All your eye test results and images are recorded on our database for retrieval at a later date for comparison and/or referals to GPs and specialists, should the need arise.
